OUR STORY

BrightPay Origin Story

Have you ever had a visit with a healthcare provider that you thought was covered by your health or dental plan only to later find out afterwards that you had a balance to pay? This story is one we have all experienced before. As patients themselves, the founders of BrightPay both have had their share of services not fully covered by our plans.

However, it was not until recently that one of the founders had a dental appointment which required a great deal of treatment that was not covered by their dental plan. When they got ready to get the care, they needed they were challenged with two problems: (1) there were not any flexible options available to manage their payments (2) there was not an easy way to pay.

It was then that the founder solved the problem by developing a mobile application that would make it as easy to pay for their health care as it is to pay for any other modern service today. And from there, BrightPay was born.
