Birmingham, Alabama
Why Birmingham
Birmingham remained the startup’s flagship location as it looked to grow nationally.
“I love the way the town comes together to support start-ups and small businesses located here.”
Building in the South
Haith moved the startup to Birmingham to tap into the city’s growing HealthTech and BioTech infrastructure. “We know that communities in the South are much more affected by healthcare disparities. They lack access to care and alternative payment models in comparison to other regions,” she told Hypepotamus.
Birmingham Bound, which recruits and supports founders moving to the city, helped BrightPay settle in.
