How it worked
StartUp Health described the eligibility and transparency tool as the opening feature of BrightPay’s 2022 release. It used new rules and regulations around data interoperability to pull pricing and insurance data right into the app, so patients and their providers could quickly assess the out-of-pocket cost of a procedure.
“Plans are now sharing more data, which has allowed us to push our product forward faster,” co-founder Archie Otu said.
